The WAC Consulting Group serves companies in many industries and we are proud to share with you some of our clients’ stories, believing that these stories will give you insight into our partners abilities.
Auto Desk Solutions Provider
Mid-West CAD - When Mid-West CAD upgraded their accounting system with the previous IT Consultant, they spent 2 -3 days in downtime...This experience motivated Mid-West CAD to look for a new software solutions provider who understood both the hardware and software portions of their business.
Bakeries
Coffaro's Baking Company - As her business quickly ramped up, Joyce recalls she needed expert assistance with her manufacturing operations. She was looking for someone with hands on experience in manufacturing who could also streamline their business processes, all without charging an arm and a leg.
Raison D'etre - A Bakery - When Raison D'etre received a notice from Sage Software that their accounting system, Vision Point, was being retired, their decision to upgrade to Pro Series was an easy one.
Distribution
Apollo Oil, LLC - Apollo Oil, LLC, distributes motor oil, lubricants, waxes and polishes to automobile dealerships, retail outlets, and commercial industries. The company’s previous ERP system didn’t provide accurate inventory information or sophisticated warehouse management functionality, and was very expensive to upgrade.
MedSource RX - MedSource RX had definitely outgrown their system and data-integrity was now becoming a concern. The 'Pedigree' reporting requirements of the industry were causing a bottleneck in MedSource RX's invoicing and shipping process.
Redbone Foods, LLC - “QuickBooks had worked fine when we were smaller. But as our transaction volume increased and inventory tracking requirements became more complex, we quickly discovered that we needed software with better reporting flexibility and functional depth in the areas of purchasing, order entry and inventory control.”
The Fastener Group - The Fastener Group supplies manufacturers and government agencies with hi-tech and military fasteners, and electro mechanical components. They needed a system that tracked each part by all possible references: internal item number, customers’ order number, suppliers’ sku, and military specifications.
Manufacturing
Hub Pen Company - Hub Pen markets their products exclusively through distributors, who need to supply that information to their own customers, but since Hub Pen drop ships the finished products directly to these customers, the lack of detailed information at each step of the order started to significantly impact the company’s customer service delivery.
Luster Leaf Products, Inc. - Since Luster Leaf Products is a seasonal business it is essential for the company to keep track of sales activity of past months to forecast orders for future periods.
Larry Holbein wanted to able to plug-in a month in the system and have real-time access to the shipments that would be coming into the warehouse at that time. He also wanted to be able to look at the forecasting report on a daily, weekly and even hourly basis if needed.
Rainbow Symphony, Inc. - Manufacturer and distributor of 3D paper glasses. They knew that their business processes needed a change. The employees were spending a substantial amount of time every day pushing paper around and ultimately shredding files.
Snoozer Pet Products - Brian O’Donnell, owner of Snoozer Pet Products, acknowledged that the company’s transaction volume was steadily growing. In order to expand, they needed to install an integrated business ERP solution, and move away from the unsupported DOS based product being used at the time.
Washington Crane & Hoist, Inc. - Joanne needed a robust job cost system, she needed the capability to quickly and easily manipulate data and she needed an ERP system that could be customized to reflect the company's business processes.
Publications
Gardner Publications, Inc. - Ernie Brubaker, Treasurer of Gardner Publications, admits that the business often hesitates to upgrade its accounting software to the latest version because of all its custom modifications.
